This summer Gashland EPC is excited for Breakaway! Breakaway is a 5 day sports camp for ages 5-12. It will be a fun packed week where your children will learn different sports skills, character building, and faith. The camp will run from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm every day from July 15-19. The cost of the camp is $25. Camp includes a free lunch every day and a t-shirt! If you are in need of a scholarship, please check out our registration, payment, and scholarship information below.

General FAQ
What should I bring? What should I not bring?
What to Bring: Water Bottle, Tennis Shoes (for all activities), wear active clothes.
What NOT to Bring: Radios or iPods, Water Guns, Cell Phones, or weapons of any kind.
Is lunch provided?
Lunch is provided. However, if you child has a food allergy or is gluten intolerant, then you will be responsible for bringing your own sack lunch for your child’s safety.
How do we send medications for our campers?
Place medications in a plastic bag along with instructions on an index card. All medications must be in the original container.
What should I wear?
We recommend that you send your child to Breakaway in clothes that can get dirty. Remember this is a sports camp and we may have activities that cause your child to get wet or dirty. Your child should be in summer attire with tennis shoes. No flip-flops, sandals or bare feet.
Is sporting equipment provided, or do we send our child’s personal equipment?
All sporting equipment will be provided for your camper. There is no need to send sports equipment. Personal gear can be used, but Gashland EPC cannot be held liable for loss or damage to personal sports equipment.
Drop Off & Pick Up Information
Check-In Starts at 8:00 am Each Day
On Monday morning, follow the signs to ‘Check-In’. At the registration desk, check in your child and fill out any additional paperwork if needed. After checking in at registration table, you will be able to meet your child’s counselor for the week and say your goodbyes! After Monday, curbside drop off will be allowed.
Pick-Up at 12:30 pm Each Day
Pick up will happen at your child’s tent each day. A Photo ID is REQUIRED to check out campers. If someone other than the camper’s parents are picking up the child, you must fill out a Pick Up Approval Form.
Is Breakaway for all skill levels?
Yes! This camp is for all skill levels! It doesn’t matter if you are a pro in the making or if you have no experience. All kids will have fun learning new skills, playing the sport, and having fun with crazy games!

When is my payment due?
Payment is due at Registration. After you complete registration you will be directed to PayPal where you can pay by credit or debit or through your PayPal account. You do not need a PayPal account to pay through PayPal. Simply click on the debit and credit button on the bottom of the screen. See picture below for instructions.
Are scholarship available?
A limited number of scholarships are available.
How do I apply for a scholarship?
If you are in need of a scholarship, please contact our Ministry Communications Director, Caitlin Palmer, at caitlin@gashland.org. She works with our scholarship team and will be happy to assist you. If you are applying for a scholarship, you do not need to register above. There is a separate process for registering with scholarships. Thanks!
