Gashland’s goal is to foster loving relationships among the members of GEPC. The ministries below also function to encourage our congregation to grow in relationship with one another.
Community Groups
Looking for a way to grow in your walk with the Lord and in community with others? Then Community Groups might be for you! Community Groups are small groups of 8-10 individuals, meeting in homes potentially twice per month, in order to facilitate care, prayer, God’s Word, sharing life and therefore growth in the Lord. These groups are formed in the Fall. If you are interested in getting involved in a group for next term, please fill out the interest form on the Community Groups Interest Page Here!
Conversations
Held on Wednesday evenings from September through May, Conversations is aimed at building community among the people of Gashland and to provide a comfortable place to invite a friend. A meal is provided, and is served downstairs in the Ministry Center at 6:00-6:30 and the short teaching times and table discussions surrounding faith and culture begin at 6:40-7:45. Help is always needed and much appreciated to help plan, prepare, serve, and clean up the Wednesday night Conversations meal. Summer Socials
Join us during the Summer months as we look for ways to connect, to know, and be known, and to have fun together! Themed social groups meet a minimum of three times (once a month) in June, July, and August, to explore their common interests. Each Summer we offer different groups that are centered around various activities from coffee tasting to board games, there’s something for everyone! 20’s-30’s Group
The 20’s-30’s Group meets together regularly for community. We have fun events and fellowship 2 times a month on Fridays! We also meet on the third Sunday of every month after Church to have lunch at a local restaurant, hang out, and stay connected. Kids are welcome! Gashland Grounds & Sunday Morning Coffee
Part of building relationships is providing a place to meet and fellowship with one another. Between services and around the Gashland Grounds coffee table, enjoy a time to meet and greet other Sunday morning worshipers before Sunday School. Open every Sunday morning.
Quarterly Church Wide Social Events
Four times a year, we come together as a church family to enjoy fun events. Past events have included spring picnics, a Valentines Dance, fall festivals, and much more!
