Acts 2 Portal
We are experiencing one of the most challenging events in recent history and this will create many needs for many people. The Acts 2 Portal is based upon this beautiful passage in scripture:
Acts 2:44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.
You see, all of us have needs and God is the one who is able to meet those needs. Typically those needs are met by families that help provide, but in certain situations, the family can’t provide and so God also gives the church and government as powerful institutions to step in and care for those in need.
The Acts 2 Portal is a system set up during this crisis to care for those who consider Gashland home. We have created a system in our church where those with specific needs can have them met by other members of Gashland.
