MARILYN JENNINGS | MINISTRY COMMUNICATIONS

Marilyn joined the Gashland EPC family in March of 2014. She graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. She, and her husband Travis, both come from military families who have lived all over the United States and Europe. They both currently live in North Kansas City with their dog Harvey and ar expecting their first kiddo this year! 

What are your hobbies?

I am passionate about Communications, Graphic Design, Photography, and Typography.  It is a huge blessing that I can consider my creative projects at work to be as enjoyable as my hobbies. In my spare time, I volunteer as the Alumnae Relations advisor for my sorority. I also love music and have been taking classical vocal lessons since I was fourteen years old. My favorite languages to sing in are Italian and Latin. I am always reading something in my down time as well. Mostly, I enjoy being with my husband,  friends,  and family and my dog Harvey, who tends to be my little shadow wherever I go. 

What are your favorite books and movies?

I love Jane Austen, the happy endings get me every time! As far as movies go, Pride & Prejudice is always up there, but I think my other favorite movie is Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds.
