Adult Ministries
All of life is meant to be lived in community and with one another. It is the heart of Gashland that you would find a place to know and be known. GEPC wants to connect you and equip you, and most importantly help you to grow in your love and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Below are ways adults can engage in this process:
Sunday School
Men & Women: Offered from 9:45-10:45 join a number of Sunday School classes for an opportunity to dig deeper into the Bible. You can find the Sunday school descriptions in the link below.
2019 Scripture Memory
In 2019 one area we would like to grow in as a church is scripture memory. The Word of God is indispensable in the Christian life. It is through God’s Word that we learn about who God is, who we are, what the gospel is, and how to live out the Christian life. God’s Word is living and active and it can powerfully change your life. This is why memorizing God’s Word is one of the best ways for you to grow and strengthen your relationship with the Lord.
Therefore, our goal for 2019 is to memorize one verse per week (52 verses total). If this task feels too daunting for you to tackle, we would encourage you to try and memorize 2 per month (26 verses total) or one per month (12 verses total). For at the end of the day no matter how many verses you memorize the most important thing is that we all are growing in God’s Word together and letting the word of Christ dwell richly in us.
In order to accomplish this goal we are using the Fighter Verse program through Desiring God Ministries for our scripture memorization. You can download a list of the verses that we will be memorizing below and also find some helpful tools to aid your memorization.

W.I.S.E. Mentor Program
If you are looking to be a mentor or if you are looking to be mentored, we can help! The W.I.S.E. Mentor seeks to help connect the Gashland Family so that they can mentor and be mentored by others. For more information check out www.gashland.org/mentor.

Women’s Ministry
Women need time to love and be loved, and learn aside other women. Gashland provides several opportunities for women to spend time together in Scripture, in prayer, and in fellowship. Men’s Ministry
Men often face unique challenges and unique pressures from the world. It is important for men to be in relationship with each other as well, and GPC wants to help build those friendships of accountability and love.
Saturday Morning Bible Study
An early morning time to meet as men and study God’s Word together. Meets at 7:30 in the church library.
Men’s Fellowship Campfires
Monthly men’s campfires will be held on the last Saturday of each month between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM at the GEPC Pavilion. These fun evenings of food and fellowship are a great opportunity to spend time with old friends – and make new ones – while exploring the joy, risks, and rewards of walking with God in a community of men. All you need is a lawn chair, an appetite, and a desire to know God better! Questions?
